Clamping mechanism

The borehole sensor features a clamping mechanism (eccentric disc) for fixing it inside an inclinometer tube. This allows the sensor to be fixed at the desired depth and retrieved again.

The inclinometer tube must first be aligned (e.g., groove facing north) and fixed in the ground (concreted).
